Former San Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes has been arrested for the second time in less than a year, facing accusations of domestic violence. The arrest took place in Bexar County, Texas, where Forbes was booked on a felony charge related to the incident.

Alleged Incident of Domestic Violence

Court documents obtained by News 4's Mariah Medina detailed the alleged violent encounter between Forbes and the mother of his two children. The woman reported that Forbes forcefully entered her apartment, immediately striking her in the head. Subsequently, he allegedly choked her using various methods, including his forearms, the collar of her shirt, and his bare hands. Despite her pleas that she could not breathe, Forbes reportedly disregarded her distress, stating, "if you can speak then you are not being choked." The woman managed to escape but experienced neck soreness following the incident.

Previous Allegations

This is not the first time Forbes has faced accusations of violence against a woman. In February 2023, he was arrested for allegedly striking a woman multiple times after a night out in Bexar County. Forbes was charged with assault, but he entered a pretrial diversion program in June 2023.

Forbes, a 30-year-old basketball player, last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2022-2023 season, averaging 3.6 points per game in 25 contests. However, he has not participated in the 2023-2024 season.
