Johnny Eblen, the Bellator middleweight champion, recently found himself in the middle of a prank at a Home Depot in Florida. The 32-year-old fighter was targeted by a social media prankster, and things almost took a violent turn.

Prank at Home Depot

While shopping at the Home Depot, Johnny Eblen was approached by a popular prankster known as ImReddttv. The prankster, wearing the Apple Vision Pro, made inappropriate comments towards Eblen and his companion, leading to a tense situation.

“I’ll tell you right now, I’m pretty sure I can bag her,” the prankster said, referring to Eblen’s companion, which immediately raised Eblen’s suspicion as he noticed someone filming the encounter.

Despite Eblen’s discomfort, the prankster continued with disrespectful remarks, causing Eblen to warn, “If you say something disrespectful I’ll f*** you up!” The situation escalated as the prankster followed Eblen and his companion, prompting Eblen to confront him.

Resolution and Revelation

It was later revealed that the prankster had been sent by Brian Butler-Au, Eblen’s manager, to play a practical joke on the fighter. The tension was diffused, and Eblen took the incident in good humor.

Shortly after the prank, Eblen embarked on a journey to Saudi Arabia, where he is scheduled to fight PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay on February 24 in Riyadh.
