Former WWE Hall of Famer, Tammy Sytch, has been transferred to a state prison in Florida, where she is set to remain until 2040. The 51-year-old was sentenced to 17 years in prison after being involved in a fatal car crash while driving under the influence. Recently, she posed for a new mugshot, reflecting the reality of her situation.

Settling into the New Environment

Sytch had been previously held at the Florida Women’s Reception Center in Ocala before being moved to the Lowell Correctional Institution, which is just a mile away. The institution, which is the oldest all-women’s facility in the state, currently houses around 1,000 inmates.

Programs and Activities

With over a decade and a half left on her sentence, Sytch will have ample time to engage in various programs offered at the Lowell Correctional Institution. These include cosmetology and cooking classes, as well as vocational programs such as equine care and operating heavy machinery. The institution also provides support for inmates dealing with alcohol addiction, a struggle that Sytch has faced over the years.

Life Inside the Institution

Despite the limitations, the institution offers a variety of menu options, albeit on a rotating basis. Sytch can expect meals such as buttery oatmeal with brown sugar, pancakes, breakfast sausage patties, and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Lunch options include meatloaf, peanut butter and jelly, sloppy joe, and buffalo chicken, while dinner may consist of a fish patty, turkey hot dogs, chili mac, and meatballs.

Looking Ahead

Although Sytch does not yet have a work assignment, she may have the opportunity to hold a job within the prison. Her release date is scheduled for January 3, 2040.
