Los Angeles Lakers player Christian Wood has been granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, Yasmine Lopez, following a series of disturbing incidents. The 28-year-old athlete claims that Lopez, who is an Instagram model with over a million followers, has caused significant distress and financial damage to his property since their breakup in December 2022.

Allegations and Incidents

• Wood alleges that on February 23, 2024, Lopez and her friends trespassed at his California residence, resulting in damage to his Mercedes-Benz.
• He also details an August 2023 incident in which Lopez broke into his home, causing destruction and attempting to physically harm him.

Restraining Order Details

As part of the restraining order, the judge has directed Lopez to stay at least 100 yards away from Wood at all times, with the exception of brief and peaceful contact related to conversations about their child. The order also prohibits Lopez from harassing, attacking, threatening, or stalking Wood, and she is not allowed to possess a firearm while the order is active. The temporary restraining order is set to expire on March 20.
