Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant had a tense moment with fans before the game against the Mavericks on Thursday night. The NBA star was seen confronting two fans who allegedly called him a derogatory name as he ran out of the tunnel for warmups.

Confrontation with Fans

The incident, captured on video, shows Durant halting in his tracks upon hearing the offensive remark. He then approached the fans, engaged in a heated exchange with them for about 30 seconds, and eventually walked away in apparent disgust before rejoining his teammates. The fans, who had prime seats for the game, were seemingly on the verge of being ejected from the American Airlines Center before Durant stepped in to prevent it.

Game Performance

Despite the confrontation, Durant managed to put up 23 points and six rebounds during the game, which ended with the Suns losing to the Mavericks with a score of 123-113.
